Welcome to The Trip
Here, we travel to the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico for our third annual pilgrimage, to feel the the strength and wisdom of these mountains and this land.
As you step foot on the lands you will instantly feel the sweetness of the wind, the presence of the clouds, the elegance of the fire and the mystical dimensions of the mushroom medicine that grows naturally in this sacred landscape.
This is where strength and grounded presence meets the magic and playfulness. Here on retreat, away from the hustle of modern life, we find what it means to float through the airs of our own soul by having the time, the space, and the support to navigate the layers of our mind, body and spirit with the ease and with grace of a butterfly.
The Pilgramage
We follow the footsteps of many who have traveled in pilgrimage to this land, seeking its enchantment and finding its medicine by tapping into the frequencies and perspectives offered by a place connected to the clouds. Strong presence comes through soft gentle whispers and the harmonies offered by the mountain's strength. Every tree has a song, every step has a heartbeat, and here in this place its beauty is offered freely.
Speaking its loving, kind voice in whispers to your mind, body and soul to what is true. She calls you more deeply into your heartspace and asks you to bear witness to yourself and all of the beauty that you are.
This small group retreat is limited to eight participants who are called to come into deeper relationship with themselves as they come into relationship with this sacred mountain. Through daily breathwork, connecting with the land, fire and medicine of these lands in ceremony (Ingesting any plant medicine is not guaranteed), you will sink into the undercurrents of who you are, allowing those currents to harmonize deeply into the song of your souls calling.

Travis Preston is a Spiritual Coach, Trauma informed Breathwork facilitator, and "Bliss Mode" Empowerment Specialist. Travis brings a steady, grounded approach to transformative work, shaped by years of training in traditional mystical practices and modern trauma-informed healing. His experience leading fire ceremonies, guiding breathwork, and supporting emotional integration has taught him how to create spaces where people feel both safe and deeply supported through their journey. Travis’ work is rooted in presence, consistency, and a genuine respect for the natural rhythms of human healing.

When Does The Retreat Start And End?
The retreat starts on Thursday, August 6th at 2pm and ends on Thursday, August 13th at 11am.
Where Is This Retreat?
This retreat starts in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico. We then journey together from this city to the town of San Jose Del Pacifico, Oaxaca, Mexico for four nights and then return to Oaxaca City for one last night. See the travel itinerary below:

8/6: Arrival to Oaxaca, City Lodging anytime after 2pm for One Night - Settle in, integrate and arrive to our container

8/7: After breakfast, we will travel as a Group from Oaxaca City to San Jose Del Pacifico (3.5 hour travel time)

8/7 - 8/12: Retreat Experience in San Jose Del Pacifico and Five All-Inclusive Nights of Lodging, Ceremonies, and Transformation upon some of Mexico’s most beautiful mountains

8/12: Return as a Group to Oaxaca City (3.5 hour travel time) Celebration Dinner and One Night of Lodging

When Should I Book My Flight For?
You should book your flight sooner than later. Prices for flights tend to increase as we approach our retreat start date. You will book your flight to arrive to (OAX). Oaxaca International Airport. Check in at our Oaxaca City Lodging is available at 2PM. Plan for your plane to arrive at OAX before 6PM on August 7th, 2025. If you arrive too late in the evening you will have very little time to rest and acclimate before our travels to the mountains the next day on August 7th.
Depending on where you are flying from you may not have a direct flight available to OAX. If your layover is in Mexico City, you will go through customs during your layover and may need to recheck your bags. It is recommended that you plan your flight accordingly for time during your layover to not feel rushed or stressed. If your layover is in the United States you may go through customs when you arrive at Oaxaca International Airport. If you have any questions don't hesitate to use us as a support!
You may decide you would like to spend time in Oaxaca City before or after your retreat experience. We highly recommend you take a day or two to take in the sights on your own as there are museums, ruins, and many other sights to see. Any of these additional accommodations or experiences would not however be included or covered by the retreat and would be at your own expense.
How Do I Get From The Airport To The Retreat?
Upon arrival at Oaxaca International Airport (OAX) the best way to get to our lodging in Oaxaca City is to take a taxi. Taking an Oaxaca airport taxi outside of the baggage claim is the quickest option, with a journey time of just 25 minutes and a price of (MXN 390 about $22 US). Taxis are a very safe form of transportation in Oaxaca City. Oaxaca International airport is a small airport compared to most US airports and will feel manageable. If you have language barriers you can give the written address of our lodging directly to your taxi driver. When you arrive on the first evening you will have the option to rest at the hotel or meet others arriving for the retreat in the courtyard or the rooftop terrace. Dinner will be available at the site.

Do You Recommend Travel Insurance?
Yes, we strongly recommend having travel insurance for your trip. We recommend a plan that covers personal injury, medical, repatriation, evacuation, and expenses. Trip insurance coverage for unforeseen cancellations is also encouraged for your trip.
